Visit Manchester Convention Bureau is the official accommodation booking provider for this event. We are delighted to offer specially negotiated accommodation rates for delegates and visitors.

To secure your accommodation first start by selecting your guest type (whether you wish to prepay or secure by credit/debit card), your preferred dates and then follow the on-line instructions. Through this website you can book, modify or cancel your accommodation reservation.

However we highly recommend booking online as this is the most secure form of making a reservation.
Accommodation at the Campus Student Rooms
Note also that that we have student accommodation special prices available (accommodation at the on the campus student rooms) for those interested. The nightly rate for single bed accommodation at MMU is £18 + VAT per night.
We have allocated 50 rooms on the 26th, 27th, 28th and 29th Aug with departure on the 30th Aug, this can be extended if needed. First come, first served basis.
When wanting to make a booking, we will require arrival and departure dates, 10 working days in advance of your booking start so we can allocate rooms and make arrangements for key collections. If you need access adapted rooms please let us know at your earliest convenience. Rooms are all single occupancy and for fire regulations we can’t allow more than 1 person per room.We are also not able to accept accommodation bookings for anyone under the age of 14.
Adapted rooms means they have been adapted for wheelchair users and people with reduced mobility.
- They have an alarm system.
- The beds are lowered.
- The rooms are bigger to allow a wheelchair to get past the furniture.
- The wardrobe and shelving are lowered.
- The sink is at wheelchair height.
The wi-fi will be free to use in the accommodation. There is a café in the Business school, and a café in the School of Art that guests could purchase light snacks , muffins, croissants, sandwiches at breakfast time, but as it is vacation time our main refectories are closed. There are a number of local cafes and bars within a 2 minute walk from the accommodation where guests will be able to purchase cooked breakfast options if they require. Guest also have access to the kitchen facilities in the accommodation where they can prepare their own breakfast.
The payment procedure for the Summer School is as follows:
- When you arrive to register you will be asked for payment in British Pounds plus VAT which is at 20%.
- The price for each room is £18+VAT per person per night, the total including VAT is £21.60 per person per night.
- So, just to recap, payment must be made at registration at the event and all reservations must be with us 10 day before the event.
